City & Guilds is the UK's leading vocational awarding body offering more than 500 qualifications in over 28 industry sectors, though 8500 approved centres in around 100 countries worldwide, with three major international hubs: London, Johannesburg and Singapore.
To meet the growing operational demands of the business and with more than 800 employees worldwide, City & Guilds identified it needed to implement a new security strategy to rationalise its security providers and to introduce a phased upgrade of an integrated security solution throughout its property portfolio.
After an exhaustive qualification process, WOT Security were chosen to work with the City & Guilds FM and IT teams, to implement the security strategy and a phased roll of out of the new integrated security solution.
Carrying out review of the City & Guilds security infrastructure enabled WOT Security to design and install an integrated, networked remote site solution using Honeywell access control, Honeywell Fusion digital recording with site specific floor plan graphics and intruder alarm control. The networked solution allows easy management of CCTV images, control of access onto remote sites and integration with the intruder alarm systems.
