The new London office of King Sturge would fulfil a joint role; as the corporate headquarters and as the regional office responsible for much of the South East and East Anglia. In the heart of London's West End, the office accomodates all the corporate, professional, agency and consultancy functions. The six storey building also has retail outlets on the ground floor and first floor whilst the fifth floor is let out to a tenant.
As a global leader in its field, King Sturge was keen that its new premises should demonstrate the prestige of the company and its experience within the field of property management. It was therefore imperative that the chosen security solution was state of the art and commensurate with a building of this nature.
Louise Polledri, King Sturge Project Manager appointed WOT Security to undertake the design and installation of the system. Having met with WOT Security, Louise felt confident in the company's skills and ability to meet the strict project deadline.
In order to meet the client's requirements WOT Security spent time familiarising itself with the operation of the company and the building. WOT Security specified a Honeywell Access Control system integrated with Fusion DVR (Digital Video Recorder), CCTV cameras, Galaxy intruder and floor plan graphical displays. This further integrated with two Gunnebo speed lanes with disabled access gates and lift integration to control access to specific floors.
